Our messaging strategies are done both digitally or via print materials to encourage healthy choices for Illinois families. Examples include a monthly email newsletter, Healthy Text program, posters, and point-of-choice prompts at food pantries and retail outlets.
From the National Institutes of Health and the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, EatPlayGrow™ combines art, stories, music and activity in lessons focused on nutrition and physical activity. Lessons meet multiple national preK-2nd grade National Health Education Standards and Common Core Standards. Preschool students (ages 2-5) and their caregivers participate in lessons together.
